No worries, though. It only feels like 256°.

It’s getting hotter!

Walking between the frac pumps operating at 200+ in the Texas summer heat, it felt like 150+.

I wonder if 250 degrees is actually a survivable temperature. Seeing as that is certainly approaching cooking temperatures, I imagine it wouldnt end too well.

It’s above the boiling point, so I guess I’m dead.

I’ve been in saunas hotter than that, so obviously it’s not immediately deadly, but even a 15 minute stint in a sauna can be a challenge in temperatures this high.

You can boil water for ramen without using the stove.

“Feels like 256*”

That’s like, 12 degrees hotter than the temperature in which my engine starts warping. :O

But it’s a dry heat.

Yes. Methinks it’s a glitch.

How...how can it feel that hot? I mean, I understand basic meteorological concepts, but I’ve never seen a “feels like” temperature that’s more than double the actual temperature (well, when we’re talking about positives).

It’s a glitch. It’s really only about 90 today.

Muahahahaha wow, what’s with my brain today? I originally took it as a glitch, then I started considering it to be like somehow actually that temperature. I need to go home lol.

I wonder what’s making the app do it? I bet something as silly as carrying an extra digit or something.

It’s a bad reading from one of the weather stations in the area.

Mine had a high of 126. Feels like 103. Isn’t it October?

Yeah, but it’s October in Texas. It’s usually about this hot on Halloween.

Best weather app. I was worried that Weather Channel would screw it up when they bought out WU. I also use Storm .

I use it mostly for lightning proximity, particularly when my boys are out playing soccer. They both do similar things, but the UI is much different.
